Asalamualaikum Ustaz,

Is it unethical or rude to ask Allah for something in exchange for something? Let’s say I ask Allah to grant my doa if I have finished memorising Yaseen?

Yes it is unethical for a servant to ask Allah in exchange of something else as Allah is not in need of your worship while you are the one who is need of his bounties.
