QUESTION

Assalamualaikum,

Ustaz, I’m doing something for my job and this job requires me to use cleaning brush where by its being wet and will touch my skin wet during the cleaning process and its made from boars hair, I wish to ask if its permissible for me as a muslim to use this brush or do I need to cleanse myself with clay?

You can use it and not have to wash it with clay. This is an opinion within the Shafiee mazhab. But it is better to abstain.
