Asalamualaikum Ustaz,

I would like to ask. Is it haram to have a septum piercing? As far as I’m concerned, if it is for beautification purposes, and that I don’t do it only to represent another religion, it should be fine.

Is that true?

Septum piercing which is known as nose piercing is solely for women as long as it does not imitate the transgressors.
